We had a pressure problem on our hot water supplies which had got increasingly worse over time. Showers were not as pleasurable as they had been! Would start off at a pressure and then would ramp down after about 15 seconds. We have an Unvented Hot Water Cylinder on which it turned out that an inbuilt strainer/filter had clogged up over time and needed replacement. Hamish got stuck in and we now have ‘power showers’ again and with the added benefit of increased pressure on all our cold taps. Hamish kept us well posted as to arrival times and was very proficient. Thoroughly recommended!

Hamish the plumber is amazing! He is so efficient and tidy and obviously cares a lot about his customer service. He phoned me when he was on his way to make sure I was home. He took a really good luck at my issue and did a great job of being thorough in his approach. Our sink needed a bit of TLC and Hamish did this very efficiently. He was very tidy and organised, explained everything in a way even I could understand, answered all my questions and even took the dirty water back to empty elsewhere so as to not mess up my house. I have used several plumbers in Exeter over the last 25 years. Hamish is the best. He explained and consulted on what he was going to do before he did it. He achieved tasks that others have not been able to attempt. He understood and repaired an out of date toilet mechanism. He knew how to replace a dated shower cartridge without replacing the whole shower. He managed to remove, clean and return bathroom tiles without breaking them. He may be slightly more expensive than some plumbers, but the quality of his work far outweighs any disadvantage. His time keeping was flexible and punctual. He left clean and tidy all the places where he worked. He is impressively well equipped. As others have remarked we had every confidence he was trustworthy. You won’t find anyone better.
